EDWARDIAN PULMAN STYLE LAMP WITH PERIOD NAILSEA GLASS SHADE
A very stylish Edwardian single column lamp with cast Lion Paw Feet. The lamp has been polished and lacquered so will always remain this soft brass colour. The lamp has been rewired with modern 3 core wire, with new 3amp fused plug and will come fully pat tested ready for use in the home. The shade is a period Cranberry and frosted Nailsea style glass shade which extends that upward look. Very much in the style of the early Pulman lamps from that period of Edwardian elegance that would look great in a modern or period setting.

EDWARDIAN PULMAN STYLE BRASS LAMP WITH ETCHED GLASS SHADE CRANBERRY FRILLED EDGE
A very fine and slender Pulman style from the early Edwardian period and would date from around 1905/1910.
The lamp has a faceted column that tapers toward the base finishing with three stylish formed Art Nouveau legs with that typical petal or leaf foot.
The lamp comes with a later etched glass shade with cranberry colour around it's frilled edge.

EDWARDIAN BRASS PULMAN LAMP WITH FLAME EFFECT SHADE
This listing is for a fabulous solid brass iconic lamp from the Edwardian Period known sa a "Pulman Lamp", it is associated with the elegant age of train travel, when one dressed for dinner, left your sleeping comparment and venture to the dinning car.
Cast in solid brass as a single column with a faceted design starting at the base with a bulbous section above a ringed smaller section tapering into a middle stepped section, then moving up to another ringed section below the bulb holder. The lamp sits on a footed base with an art nouveaux influence with petal like feet and turned under legs broken half way with leaf like protusions. You will notice that one of the legs has a hole in the foot which was said to be a way of securing the lamp to it's base. The lamp has been rewired using modern three core wire that resembles the wiring from this period.

FABULOUS DOWNTON ABBEY STYLE STANDARD LAMP WITH GEORGIAN MAHOGANY BASE
This listing is for a late Georgian or early Victorian Standard Lamp converted from a pole screen and has know been rewired and brought up to date with new silk covered 3 core wire that mimics that from the early 1900's with a new switched bulb holder, 3amp plug and Pat Tested ready for use in it's new setting.
These lamps are associated with an age of elegance and style, seen in so many Edwardian and later homes. The television series of Downton Abbey has brought some of these amazing lamps and their shades to our attention.
The lamp sits on a ring turned mahogany column with a brushed brass pole and a scroll over tripod base.
The large hand made silk shade is in a pale green fabric with darker green braid with fringe and tassels.

A superb statement piece from the Edwardian period.
Original Oil Lamp converted to electric with modern 3 core old gold silk covered wiring which would mimic that used in the early 1900's, new 3amp plug and will come Pat Tested ready for use in the home. It will give that special atmospheric look of a by gone period if you are able set on a dimmer switch at a low light level. The oil lamp is stamped "Patent Lampe Belge" on the oil filler cap. A fabulous polished and lacquered HINKS Brass Table Lamp with wonderful Art Nouveau influence. With a very graceful swan neck with an "S" shaped bracket on the curve of the lamp toward the shade which is an original Vaseline Glass and completes the look.

PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN VASES CONVERTED TO LAMPS
A very fine pair of chinese vases converted to take electrical fitments. The vases with a celadon green background painted with flowers and a bowl of fruit above a hand painted central panel of baskets with flowers on a white back ground edged with gold.
With Dogs of Fo facing Monkey Handles finished in a darker green.
They sit on low carved wooden bases. The lamps have been rewired and come fully Pat Tested.
